Let's not offend Muslims. Savage is 100% correct. I happened on his show by accident in the car and he was ripping Dubya a new one. He was taking on Bush, who has mostly betrayed the Dittoheads foolish enough to follow him.
Libtalk hosts can take on Bush and nobody cares. But the Dittoheads will pay attention to guys like Savage and Imus (who also went after Bush on a lot of a issues).
And you, Media Matters and the Rev Al want to put them all out of business for reasons of your own.
I know politics makes strange bedfellows but nobody in their right mind would get in bed with the Rev Al. Rev Al is to Martin Luther King as Whiplash Willy is to Clarence Darrow.
Are fans of lib talk to so desperate about not being able to compete effectively with right wing hosts that they try to squelch them through character assassination?
By the way, do you actually listen to the hosts you attack. Or do you just repeat stuff (out of context) from Media Matters?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17391593.post-85416185205841346782007-06-03T15:04:00.000-07:002007-06-03T15:04:00.000-07:00What the Nassau regional VP failed to say was Fran...What the Nassau regional VP failed to say was Franken left to run for office. AND, that his replacement, Tom Hartmann, is considered by listeners one of the smartest and most balanced "liberal" hosts on radio.

Nassau Broadcasting didn't go to too much trouble to bring programming "yearned for" by the public. They replaced AAR with yet another "sports" (ESPN) slot, one ALREADY broadcast in our area. BUt gee, now we have a "choice": We can listen to ESPN at the lower end of the AM spectrum; or catch the exact same program at the upper end of the AM dial. Imagine that!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17391593.post-33138276121463377182007-06-02T00:41:00.000-07:002007-06-02T00:41:00.000-07:00meanwhile Portland, ME is the latest market to dro...meanwhile Portland, ME is the latest market to drop AAR. WLVP 870 was
due to switch to ESPN sports in
Sep of '04 but locals banded together to convince the station's owners to
keep prog talk on. But now they are
ESPN. An official with Nassau
Broadcasting said that recent changes at the network, including the loss
of Al Franken, were part of the
reason for dropping AAR.raccoonradiohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09097464094942935414noreply@blogger.com
